Prof. Ahmad Kamal, a distinguished scientist and former scientific advisor to the government of Telangana, was the founding Chairperson of the CSPS since 2021. Previously, he held the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor at Jamia Hamdard and currently holds the title of senior professor emeritus at Birla Institute of Technology & Science. Additionally, he served as a visiting scientist at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Prof. Kamal is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India, and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Ahmed Kamal earned his Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and completed his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at Aligarh Muslim University. He is the author of numerous research papers.
